Big enough to serve – small enough to care!
1st February 2003 DanCopter A/S performed their first flight in Esbjerg. Sine then the operation has expanded and today it includes operations on 2 continents.
From the mainbase in Esbjerg we serve HESS, DONG Energy, and Maersk Oil & Gas in the Danish sector of the North Sea. We have previously, among other customers, served StatoilHydro with operations out of Ireland´s west coast and served Shell, Chevron, and Wintershall in Dutch waters from our base in Den Helder. In May 2009 we commenced a multi-annual contract in the Norwegian sector for Det Norske / Wintershall and in order to provide the best possible service to our customers on the Norwegian market we established a daughter company Blueway Offshore Norge in 2009. In July 2010 we flew the first helicopters to Nigeria to commence a multi-annual contract for Shell in co-operation with Caverton Helicopters.
