Big enough to serve – small enough to care! 1st February 2003 DanCopter A/S performed their first flight in Esbjerg. Sine then the operation has expanded and today it includes operations on 2 continents. From the mainbase in Esbjerg we serve HESS, DONG Energy, and Maersk Oil & Gas in the Danish sector of the North Sea. We have previously, among other customers, served StatoilHydro with operations out of Ireland´s west coast and served Shell, Chevron, and Wintershall in Dutch waters from our base in Den Helder. In May 2009 we commenced a multi-annual contract in the Norwegian sector for Det Norske / Wintershall and in order to provide the best possible service to our customers on the Norwegian market we established a daughter company Blueway Offshore Norge in 2009. In July 2010 we flew the first helicopters to Nigeria to commence a multi-annual contract for Shell in co-operation with Caverton Helicopters. We wish to be acknowledged as a reliable and trustworthy partner for whom a solid support base, i.e. highly qualified and experienced employees and a good and safe fleet of helicopters, all comes together. Our position in this business was further strengthened in 2008 where the Norwegian Blueway AS Group took over the shares in DanCopter 100%. Blueway AS has years of experience with helicopter operations in many parts of the world. Our mission is to perform to our customer’s complete satisfaction and to secure a professional service, quick response, thorough information, and a kind, personal contact. We presently have a staff of around 85 employees of whom the main groups are pilots and technicians. With a flexible and positive approach our employees contribute to creating regularity, energy, and job satisfaction – a great benefit for the thousands of offshore employees flying with us every year. |
