DanCopter's Safety Management System, approved in the beginning of 2009, establishes yhe company´s Safety Policy.
As part of the Safety Management a documented risk assessment is carried out in case of any change or amendment to the company's organization or operation, e.g. a new helicopter type, a new operation, or a new work area.
The safety accomplishment is measured and secured by auditing the technical and operational organization regularly. This includes monitoring every flight through an anonymous analysis of the "flight data" from "the black box" with the purpose of optimizing the training of pilots. The helicopter's motor and transmission systems are monitored electronically for changes in vibrations - these are being analyzed before every flight take off.
We strive towards maintaining and improving the safety culture and management regularly by carrying out safety related surveys, management training and communication, and participation in relevant safety seminars etc.
